Sound, well planned infrastructure is the foundation of any community. Our communities run with the help of utilities, which provide our water, wastewater and energy needs, to name a few. Without the investment in infrastructure our communities would have no way to get water from the treatment plant, or energy from the power plant.
Other types of infrastructure are equally as important, but don’t necessarily interface with our day-to-day lives as frequently or directly. Stormwater facilities, police and fire stations, and transportation infrastructure are all critical to the basic functioning of our communities, and their potential for economic and societal growth.
The TOD Resource Guide is intended to provide resources and strategies that all stakeholders can use to help form partnerships and enhance their abilities to provide efficient, coordinated infrastructure investments throughout all communities within the TBARTA Region.
